Lieutenant Governor of Oregon
The following is a complete, and current list of lieutenant governors of the 50 U.S. States, and its Territories. Currently, 25 states elect a lieutenant governor on a ticket with the governor, while 18 states elect a lieutenant governor separately. In West Virginia, the President of the Senate, as elected by the senators, serves as lieutenant governor. In Tennessee, the senators elect a Speaker of the Senate, who in turn serves as Lieutenant Governor of Tennessee. Five states do not have a lieutenant governor. There are currently 35 Republicans and 21 Democrats serving as lieutenant governor or serving as the first in the line of succession.

Approved House Bill Looks To Abolish Lieutenant Governor's Office | Progress Illinois
The Illinois House approved a measure Thursday that looks to do away with the lieutenant governor's office, placing the issue on the 2014 ballot for voters to approve. The House Joint Resolution by Constitutional Amendment, HJRCA 18, sponsored by State Rep. David McSweeney (R-Barrington Hills), passed by a 83-28 vote. It would still need to pass the Senate.
